Empowering technical staff and engineers for a safer and healthier future.
Supporting education and innovation.
Biomedical World, a non-profit organization based in the USA that builds a global community that fosters the exchange of contacts, ideas, information, knowledge, research, techniques, and networks in the field of medical equipment repair and biomedical technology. Our goal is to connect people and organizations working in the biomedical field and to promote the advancement of healthcare in low and medium income countries (LMIC).
We have developed a training program which is designed to meet the growing demand for highly skilled technicians in the field of biomedical equipment repair. It covers a wide range of topics, including electrical safety, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance, and is taught by highly experienced professionals in the field. Our goal is to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge they need to repair and maintain medical equipment, particularly biomedical equipment, and improve healthcare in LMICs around the world.
As a non-profit humanitarian effort, we will be returning any profits made as grants to the organizations working in schools and hospitals in LMIC countries, in an effort to contribute to improve the overall healthcare for citizens of LMIC.
Need for Training and Support
Many technical materials in local areas do not exist. Equipment fails to be repaired due to lack of support, documentation, training and parts.
Continuing Education for Teachers
We create continuing education programs to address the needs of teachers and their students low to middle-income communities. From training on the latest technology to hands-on practical methods, we help teachers, technicians, and engineers make their paths to support successful.
Support for Communities
Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure students have the necessary support to do their best.
“With the support from Biomedical World Inc, we have been able to serve our community and hospitals better than ever.”
